Busangot

Posted on: July 15, 2010

Call me uptight, but I just think that professionalism still matters when you’re at a meeting. Whether you’re talking to a client or talking to a supplier, there’s no excuse for a busangot face. It’s one thing to express disappointment over unmet standards but it’s a completely different thing to have no control over your facial contortions. Unless you have a medical condition that keeps you from keeping your facial muscles in check, you don’t get to do this:

Seriously.

I’m sorry, I’m not your boyfriend so this doesn’t count as cute or amusing for me.

And who the hell fixes their hair during a meeting? I mean, hello, okay ka lang?

I usually try to ignore things like this but I just found it really off putting. I think that when you’re talking to someone seriously, it still makes sense to keep your emotions level while being assertive about what it is that you’d like to have done. Diba?
